Romantic love between humans is a social fact. For true romantic love to occur—that is, the kind that involves a higher purpose shared and voluntarily chosen by two people/spirits —there must first be a precedent of soul affinity.
There’s not an academic or theoretical approach about the concept of soul affinity. It is more of an intuitive term used in spiritual, poetic, or romantic contexts to describe a powerful, innate connection between people.
It describes a deep, natural connection between two individuals that feels intuitive and effortless, as if their inner selves resonate or align on a profound level. It’s often described as a sense of familiarity, understanding, and harmony that transcends superficial traits or circumstances.
How to recognize it?
You can recognize it when:
- After sharing, you brighten more and your energy remains protected, not drained.
- You can freely be yourself—no need for additives or masks, whether in your opinions or emotional expressions.
- You find your answers in the other person’s words; and when talking to that person you are also talking to yourself in a deep way.
- Continuing conversations, despite the distance and other factors, is possible.
- Non-meaningful external issues try to prevent you both from talking (opposing energies don’t want so much brightness to happen).
- Everything with that person feels so right to your expectations that you can’t believe it’s real.
- There’s no need to invest much time in trying to decode the other person’s behavior or unspoken language.
- You feel “sparks” in and around your chest.
- You have that feeling (certainty) that this is not a new encounter through your existence and soon you start feeling such a strong familiarity.
- You both come to understand the reasons behind past choices—those paths and decisions are often misunderstood or labeled as wrong or foolish. Together, you uncover the deeper, spiritual architecture of the alternate path that led you to each other.
- You recognize and admire the other person’s worth in ways others can’t, because you’ve seen the inner light that no one else notices.
- Amid a world full of noise, hatred, and chaos, you create a space of peace and calm—together.
- In the distance, you feel the other person’s energy and emotions.
- You finally overcome the acceptance of the minimum, because you are clear about that maximum you’ve already asked the Universe for, and that other human being encompasses exactly the important details of that request.

El amor romántico entre los seres humanos es un hecho social. Para que ocurra el verdadero amor de pareja —es decir, aquel que implica un propósito superior compartido y elegido voluntariamente por dos personas/espíritus— debe existir primero un precedente de afinidad de almas.
No existe un enfoque académico o teórico sobre el concepto de afinidad de almas. Es más bien un término intuitivo, utilizado en contextos espirituales, poéticos o románticos para describir una conexión poderosa e innata entre personas.
Describe una conexión profunda y natural entre dos individuos que se siente intuitiva y sin esfuerzo, como si sus esencias interiores resonaran o se alinearan a un nivel profundo. • Después de compartir, brillas más y tu energía permanece protegida, no drenada.

• Encuentras tus respuestas en las palabras del otro; y al hablar con esa persona, también te estás hablando a ti mismo a un nivel profundo.
• Es posible continuar la conversación a pesar de la distancia y otros factores.
• Cuestiones externas sin importancia intentan impedir que se comuniquen (las energías opuestas no quieren que tanta luz ocurra).
• Todo con esa persona se siente tan alineado con tus expectativas que cuesta creer que sea real.
• No es necesario invertir mucho tiempo en tratar de descifrar el comportamiento o el lenguaje no verbal del otro.
• Se encienden chispas dentro y alrededor de tu pecho.
• Tienes la sensación (certeza) de que este no es un encuentro nuevo en tu existencia, y pronto empiezas a sentir una fuerte familiaridad.
• Juntos logran comprender las razones detrás de sus propias decisiones pasadas—esos caminos y decisiones muchas veces incomprendidos o catalogados como erróneos o tontos. Descubren juntos la arquitectura espiritual más profunda del camino alternativo que los llevó a encontrarse.
• Reconoces y admiras el valor del otro de formas que otros no pueden, porque has visto esa luz interior que nadie más nota.
• En medio de un mundo lleno de ruido, odio y caos, crean juntos un espacio de paz y calma.
• Aun en la distancia, sientes la energía y las emociones del otro.
• Finalmente superas la aceptación de lo mínimo, porque tienes claro ese máximo que ya le has pedido al Universo, y ese ser humano encarna exactamente los detalles importantes de esa petición.
